Head of Talent & Operations – India (EU-based company)
We are looking for a high-impact, hands-on Head of Talent & Operations to lead and scale our recruitment activities in the Indian market, while also driving operational excellence across EU–India collaboration.
This is a hybrid strategic + execution role combining:
IT / Digital recruitment leadership
Direct sourcing & talent acquisition ownership
Cross-regional operational coordination
You will play a key role in building strong talent pipelines, improving hiring quality, and acting as a bridge between EU stakeholders and India-based talent.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus)
Own end-to-end recruitment processes for IT and digital roles
Actively source candidates directly (LinkedIn, networks, market mapping)
Build and maintain a strong personal talent network in India
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and hiring strategy
Ensure high-quality candidate evaluation, using structured and competency-based methods
Drive continuous improvement in sourcing strategies and hiring effectiveness
Operations & Market Ownership
Act as a key point of contact between EU teams and India operations
Support and coordinate cross-regional projects and hiring initiatives
Take ownership of recruitment delivery and outcomes, not just coordination
Contribute to building scalable processes in the India market
What we are Looking For
Must-have
Proven experience in IT / digital recruitment (agency or in-house)
Active Hindi network for identifying and deploying suitable candidates
Strong hands-on sourcing experience (not only coordination)
Demonstrated ability to build and leverage personal talent networks
Excellent English and Hindi communication skills (clear, structured, confident)
Experience working in or with the Indian job market
Strong Advantage
Experience in cross-regional (EU–India) collaboration
Exposure to product or digital environments
Ability to own projects end-to-end, not just execute tasks
Structured approach to candidate evaluation and decision-making
